No Tricks, Just Treats

Monster Eye Balls Rice Krispie Bites
This recipe only has 5 ingredients!

  • 6 cups Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal
  • Food coloring
  • 6 tbsp Butter
  • 6 cups mini marshmallows
  • Candy eyes

For the best rice krispies, follow the directions on the cereal box. Then just add your food coloring, roll them into a ball and stick an eye on them. These are an easy treat to bring to any halloween party you may have coming up!

Spider Cupcakes

Make your favorite cupcakes (whether it’s homemade or from a box) and then frost them! Feel free to use any flavor you and your family will enjoy!

To get the cute spider on top, twist the Oreos apart and place the side without frosting face up on the cupcake. You can also use whole Oreos if you prefer. Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until melted.

Pour into a piping bag and then pipe 4 legs on both sides of the Oreo. Pipe a tiny bit of chocolate on the bottom of two eyes and place on the Oreo.

What Will The 2022 Housing Market Bring Us

While nobody has a crystal ball, here is what I feel we can expect in 2022.

Buyer-Friendly Market
With inventory on the rise, buyers should have more options in 2022.

Prices Will Remain
With strong growth in the market, prices likely won’t drop.

A More Normal Process
The process of purchasing a home will become more balanced. Worrying about multiple offers and outbidding may not be as common, however there will always be exceptions to this rule.

Mortgage Rates Will Increase
While rates won’t likely skyrocket, the incredibly low rates we are seeing will tick back up.

Suburbs Will Stay Popular
With many people still working from home, craving a higher quality of life and good schools, the suburbs are attracting many, especially millennials.

I’m always talking about how the rug is the largest piece of art in the room but the fifth wall, your ceiling, can also be a focal point, so don’t forget to look up!

Consider embellishing your sheet-rocked ceiling to make it something special!

Here is some inspiration to get your juices flowing!

Real Estate Around the World

How would you like to live in the clouds?
What about 100-plus floors up? Now you can!
The last 10 remaining units in Burj Khalifa the world’s tallest tower is located in Dubai and starts at $2.2 million. The project site is www.inthecloudsdubai.com. Dubai has no income tax, no property tax, no inheritance tax, no capital gains tax.

Second Highest Priced Home Sold in the U.S.
A 7-acre oceanfront estate in Paradise Cove in Malibu, just sold for $177 million, a California record, and the 2nd-highest priced home sold in the U.S., following the $238 million purchase of a New York City penthouse in 2019 at 220 Central Park South. This sale will generate around $195,000 in transfer taxes and the capital gains taxes will be much higher as the property was bought for $41 million in 2013 before extensive renovations… possibly over $20 million!
