Wood Accents: Everyone is loving natural stained wood on cabinets, but mixed with painted cabinets is even better! Whether it’s a bathroom, kitchen, game room, or laundry room, you can’t go wrong. White oak is still on trend and darker woods like walnut are starting to trend as well.
Freestanding Tubs: The clean lines and no fuss of a freestanding tub continue to be the rage. Our go-to brands are Victoria and Albert, Kohler and MAAX.
Two Showerheads: We are seeing showers become bigger and bigger so installing multiple showerheads is not only a luxury but adds value to your home. We like to install two showerheads, but other good combinations are one showerhead and one handheld showerhead, or two of each. We’re not installing as many rainbird showerheads as we use to.
Heated Floors: Winter mornings and cold tile will make you wish you had a heated floor. This is something we typically install in primary and guest bathrooms.
Floating Vanities: Floating vanities use to be synonymous with modern but now we’re using them in all styles of homes. They’re the perfect space saving and room expanding trick; hardware will make the vanity more modern or transitional.
Wallpaper in Bathrooms: I know what you’re thinking, wallpaper in the bathroom? Yes, we think you should go big, bold and beautiful!! There are so many different options on the market today from peal and stick for ease, vinyl if you’re worried about moisture or designer and hand painted for a custom look, these last two are perfect for a powder bathroom.
